Short shorts are shorts that do not go past the mid-thigh, and they are known by many names. Track athletes and runners call them "Split Shorts" because of the split on the side of the legs. Some call them "Silkies" because they're lightweight and soft. You may have heard them called "Ranger Panties" because this type of short is a military favorite for their serious, no-nonsense utility. With Short Shorts, nothing will get in your way! Not even an extra inch or two of fabric on the leg!

I wanted to make my own version of short shorts because I've been wearing this type of short since I ran track in high school as a teenager. I spared no expense on quality with the Jujimufu Shorts Shorts. And I added some cool bonus features!

We did a bunch of tests to get these ratios correct. It took awhile, but we nailed it. Our Short Shorts are the most comfortable, flexible, and durable out there.

FLAT-LOCK STITCHED: Anyone who knows something about garments knows this is rare because it's such a challenging and expensive stitching process. Flat-locked stitching means "these are the shit" !!!

MESH LINER POCKET: This type of pocket is common in short shorts. Ours is placed on the left side interior of the wearer and holds objects that are 1.5" wide and 3.0" long. Great for keys, fobs, disposable satchel wipes, chapstick, band-aids, etc.

ZIPPERED FRONT POCKET: This is another place our short shorts differ from the rest. I included a zipper pocket on the front right of the short shorts that is big enough to securely hold most 2.0" wide x 1.5" objects. Jewelry, keys, pill fobs, timers, dice, candies, folded notes, Allen keys, and small pocket knives are all things I've comfortably fit in this pocket. (It's bigger than the zippered front pocket on the Jujimufu Pants Classic.)

THICK ELASTIC WAISTBAND: Most short shorts don't have a thick waistband. We included one because it helps them "stay put" better. It is more suitable for clipping objects to the shorts, such as a timer, a clip-on pocket knife, or a phone holder. You can't do this with other Short Shorts out there. Can we say UTILITY?!

CARE

Wash inside out & Line Dry the shorts because the split man logo will last longer if you don't dry them in a hot dryer. Don't worry. They dry quick when hung out.

Note: The short shorts feel different depending on whether you wear underwear underneath them. They have a built-in mesh internal liner so that you do not have to wear underwear if you don't want to. Also, some users like wearing compression tights underneath the short shorts, which work great!
